Tractor Maintenance
We want to keep you up and running. It's always a good idea to perform regular maintenance on your tractor or farm equipment. Not only will regular maintenance extend the life of your machine, it will allow it to perform better as well.
Here are a few of the regular maintenance services we offer:
Air filters: A dirty or clogged filter can greatly reduce the amount of air available for the combustion process. The symptoms can be loss of power, a rough-running engine, and a loss in fuel efficiency. Get yours inspected or replaced.
Fuel filters: Fuel filters prevent debris from reaching your engine and damaging it. When they get clogged, it reduces the amount of fuel to the fuel injectors, causing your engine to run poorly, or not start at all. We inspect/replace fuel filters.
Fuel: Everyone knows that standing fuel will deteriorate over time. Old gas can cause your tractor to not start, or run poorly. If you think you may have left the gas in for too long, let us get it changed out for you.
Oil: We check and change oil and oil filters. This needs to be done regularly to reduce engine wear.
Blade attachments: Want a quicker and safer cut? We inspect, sharpen, and even replace blade attachments.
Hydraulics: Tractors utilize hydraulic systems to perform many different tasks. We check hydraulic pumps, pipework, and fittings. We replace hydraulic lines if they show signs of damage, ensure there is enough hydraulic oil, inspect ram seals and check for leakage, and then check the rams themselves for evidence of scoring. We also check ram anchor pins, bushes, and keep plates for signs of wear.
Vision
Wheels: We inspect/replace tires and wheel components.
Battery: We inspect terminal connections, perform battery maintenance, and prevent corrosion. We also test and replace batteries when needed.
Belts: Squeaky belt? Let's have a look. If it needs to be replaced, we do that, too.
Grease: Having the proper grease, and the proper amount of grease, is important to prevent damage to the many moving parts on tractors and farm equipment. We service these to spec so you don't have to.
Paint: Got chips or rust spots forming? Let's fix it before it becomes a problem. Get a new paint job on your tractor.
Chassis: The structural integrity of your tractor is important. Let us have a look at the chassis to inspect key structural points. We check for signs of wear/failure and make the necessary repairs so that you can work safely.
